Alexa Cook is a Property Sales Executive at CAA Sports, a division of leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA). The global market-leader, CAA Sports Property Sales is experiencing tremendous growth, having orchestrated more than $1 billion in new sponsorship transactions in 2020, despite the effects of the global pandemic. Since its inception, the agency has completed more than $5 billion in new sponsorship business on behalf of its clients, which include Formula 1, Red Bull Racing, LA Clippers, Golden State Warriors, NCAA, Riot Games, USTA, and USGA, among others.
Cook is widely considered one of the sports industry’s most accomplished sponsorship executives. Within the past 18 months alone, she has personally delivered three dozen unique partnerships generating more than $300 million in sponsorship revenue for clients from such major corporate brands as AB InBev, Adobe, Amazon, Amazon Web Services, Cisco, Citibank, Grubhub, Honda, Kia, Mercedes Benz, One Medical Group, Oracle, Pizza Hut, Red Bull, and State Farm.
In 2020, Cook helped launch the Thunder Fellows Program, an initiative supported by CAA and the Oklahoma City Thunder, designed to unlock new opportunities in sports, technology, and entertainment for Black students in the Tulsa area. Guided by the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial Commission, the program will be comprised of Black high school and college students in Tulsa area schools and regional colleges and universities, with the goal of creating a clear path to future career opportunities in professional sports and other lucrative industries.
Cook, who joined CAA Sports in 2010, currently resides in Dallas, where she opened the CAA Dallas office in 2017. She graduated with honors from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis on International Business and Finance. In college, Cook was an NCAA Division I four-year scholar athlete and served as the President of Student Athletes and Captain of the Women’s Swim Team.
